I apologize for high fuel prices. It’s my fault. You see, I tend to shop at one location as I get accustomed to the people or the service. I frequent a particular grocery store, a particular florest, a particular printer, and a particular gas station.
If I shopped around and looked for the lowest price fuel I would help lower the price of fuel for everyone. Now, I know what sme are thinking, “Charles, you don’t affect prices. You are too insignificant to matter.”
That’s not accurate. Each transaction results is a contribution to the price system. When I buy fuel for a higher price, I signal that one consumer is willing to pay more while purchasing the cheapest fuel I can find signals that one consumer is only willing to pay that low price. My transactions don’t count for much, but they do count and there are people in offices throughout the country who determine prices based partly on what consumers do.
I will endeavor to keep fuel prices lower in the future.
