Middle Ages Europe somehow retrogressed from Greek learning for quite a few centuries, but it is true that the Renaissance finally continued what the Greeks started, so humanity does seem to “mature”, but there can be some horrible suffering in the "oscillations". I do not know if this is intentional censorship, or technical malfunction. Don't think I broke the rules that harshly (might have been a little overly sarcastic a couple of times).
